    A good friend of mine just returned from a year in Iraq and was picked to be in a Radio Station contest here in Kansas City. Five people in a minivan ... last one out wins the van.

    As it turns out, the radio station decided to cancel the contest and put it up to a vote. There are only three left. Shane is one of them.

    Shane is due to head back to Iraq in March and wants to win this van for his wife and their two kids. Their youngest a newborn and 12 weeks premature. There is a lot of driving in her life right now.

    If you feel like casting a vote for Shane .... head to this link from our baseball team's website http://kcrebels.com/mix93 and vote for Shane.

    If you do not want to go through the team website, you can alternatively go to mix93.com ... we just setup the other link to get a count on potential votes since the station is not posting ongoing results.

    The soldier got my votes ... it kept letting me vote so I did, hopefully they'll count, but more over, hopefully the girls aren't getting friends to spend hours on end clicking for them. Let us know how it turns out.
