Too much ads.... It is worse to have too many ads that not enough and usually there isn't a scenario where there isn't enough ads on a site. Get rid of some of that so your visitors can see something they want to see.

Befor asking about how to increase the traffic, you should consider more about, how can i keep my current visitors. You can inflate your traffic in many ways. But aim for quality rather than quantity.

you might want to remove the Firefox thing as well or at least move it down. It ruined the whole smoothness of the site for me.

    the good :

    - nice layout
    - pleasant feel

    the not so good :

    - agreed with visio and any... overboard on the ads.
    - firefox button does stick out too much from your overall color scheme.
    - font style on navigation and content different.
    - navigation panel touches the content section in article pages.

suggestions (in my humble opinion) :

    - reduce your ads (a single banner on the top WILL produce more results than 3 banners + adlinks).

    - move your amazon ads to internal pages and limit to one or two, but I must caution you that personally, I have not had success with Amazon ads. They just get in the way.

    - traffic? well content IS king! you could do with writing your own original content instead of using free articles. A mixture would be ok. When I visit a site and see that it's basically a collection of articles from other sources, chances are I will NOT return.

Honest, sincere opinion. Hope it helps.

cool. nice. experiment with different ad formats and placement, but remember not to go overboard again. less is more.

also remember, experimentation is a slow process. don't change your ad formats every other day. one to two weeks would be sufficient time to know if your ad format is working.

first one is really nice now :)
as for the koi-carp-online I think I'd move the firefox button down with the rest of the buttons like I power Blogger. But experiment and see which works best for you of course. I'd suggest you try text block ads mixed with the content as well and not only the one on the right side.
