I suspect he's not a member of digitalpoint but I'm still thrilled that he's won the US Open - that's golf... and he's from New Zealand!

So, anyone else following the golf round here?

I watched the Open today and he did well. Great final round for him and Tiger. Goosen just lost it and fell apart.

Good for him... well deserved after so many years...
some say it's luck that goosen faltered but I think it's his skills and nerves...:)

Since I run a golf forum, I was watching the Open pretty avidly. Great win for Michael Campbell. There are quite a few members from New Zealand on Golf Rewind so I'm sure they're all happy.

I followed it pretty closely. I cant believe how much Goosen blew it on the last day. I think he ended up with a 81 after being 3- at the start of the day.

I have a team in the fantasy golf for the Scotsman :)

I love golf but I didn't see even a minute of it. I was actually out playing for real all weekend and never turned on the TV.

Then it sounds like I wouldn't have been able to watch it anyway. I have NASN until American Football starts then I switch to the SKy Sports Package.

Theres some weird Golf on Sky sports in the Winter though.

It was a great win and it was nice to see him so excited to win. It would have been nice to see Goosen or Tiger hang in there and make it a little tighter at the end, but I guess that is the game of golf. :)

Indeed! But with those greens it could have gone anywhere at the end. Some of the pros were taking double and triple bogeys because of the speed of those greens.

Well done on the 1000 posts by the way chachi
