Godaddy never loads?

I have a serious problem.

I have 5 domains at godaddy and i cant EVEN load their site. I dont like their support so phoning is not option.

Can someone please help me on accessing the site:

www.godaddy.com

Hmm,.. are you on a dial up connection? Even on broadband, I agree it can be slow at times. Just went there and the site looks ok.

There are faster loading registrars around... Godaddy has too many advertistments for sure.

 

I am 1/2meg broadband (can load poorly designed websites like godaddy easy).

The bar at the bottom says

'Connecting to godaddy.com....'

Then it says

'The connection timed out...'

Has this problem been ongoing since the first day you ever went to Godaddy?
If not, then it might be just temporary...

But if you cannot EVER access Godaddy properly, then maybe you need to check your internet connection settings and also your browser settings. FireFox should be faster than IE, performance wise...

Also try DNS flushing: (This is taken from my ISP FAQ)

a) For Win 98/ME:
- Click Start button, go to run
- Type "winipcfg" and then click OK
- Select your network card name from the adapter drop-down menu
- Click on Release button
- The IP address should display 0.0.0.0. Then click Renew All
- Click OK to close the window

b) For Win XP/2000:
- Click on Start button, go to run
- Type "command", click OK
- Type in "ipconfig /flushdns", then press Enter
- Make sure the result is "Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver cache"
- Type "exit" and press Enter to close the window screen

BUT...warning...
But make sure you know what is the recommended DNS server IP configuration from your ISP BEFORE you attempt this...



You could try http://webhostingtalk.com and post your question there...There are alot of techie folks there who may be able to diagnose your problem cos 1/2 meg connection isnt a bad connection..

Are you currently in a country which they might have blocked like one of those in the list below

Do a traceroute to godaddy.com , there may be a transit which is causing the issue.

 

I had a similar issue visiting AdSense just the other day. I could never get the site loaded, but not having this problem before.

After numerous attempts, I closed IE and tried with FireFox (which I only use for development-testing purposes), however it revealed that I had no an AdSense certificate installed.

Firefox failed acquiring such certificate (as usual), but knowing the cause of the behavior, I could get it through IE.

Maybe you have not GoDaddy certificate installed and that's it.
