Good Adsense implementation in directories

Hi,

I'm really interested in seeing some good Adsense implementations in directories - both niche and general.

I could publish this thread in the Adsense forum, but this issue relates to directories as much as it does to Adsense, plus, there are many directory pros here (plus many directory surfers).

I always liked the way Business.com deployed their Adsense ads in the category pages, but I'm interested to see what smaller players did.

Sometimes the smaller players have the greatest ideas and I'd love to see some.

So, is anybody familiar with a great Adsense implementation in a directory?

I implemented adsense in a similar way on a free template I have for phpld 3.05

Top, Side, and bottom.

I gave enough though in it, so that people who decide to use it can easily switch up easily. So if they want a side only, it's as easy as commenting out a few lines of code. same with footer as well as the side.

I wish I knew the secret to great placement, but i dont, and I wont pretend to. I guess I'll learn the old fashion way e.g. trial and error

edit: and on my main site, i've just pretty much tried to make it blend in with the other links, only giving directory links a slightly different look in that they have the pr squares.
