Good CMS for SEO with gallery

Discussion in 'Content Management' started by Mandrel, Mar 24, 2007.

I'm looking for a flexible CMS that can easily incorporate a gallery that will also be SEO friendly.

I'm wanting to use adsense and other content-based advertising on the site, and have ads related to the title of the photos.

I'd really prefer it be open source, as I don't want to lay out cash for something I end up not using.

    Any advice?

    Hi Mandrel,
IMO, Joomla! (www.joomla.org) is the best SEO friendly cms there is.
Plus, they have many kinds of galleries to choose from available addons.
There are also a few different addons for inserting Adsense to your site.

Wordpress (wordpress.org) would be a close second in terms of Adsense
and SEO friendly sites, but their gallery choices are limited.

    Hope that helps.

I run Wordpress for a few sites, and tried integrating a Plogger gallery for the site I'm working on, but the photos section doesn't want to optimize very well. I use Joomla a bit as well, so I may give that a try with Zoomgallery.

You can't go wrong with Joomla. That is what you're going to say if you give it a try and don't give up after you first see it's troubling you :)
