Good crash course in Photoshop for non-designer?

Discussion in 'Photoshop' started by PJB, Feb 3, 2010.

    Hi,

Can anyone recommend a good (free) crash course in Photoshop (or Fireworks) for someone who doesn't have much experience in it?

I come from a web development (coding/css) and online marketing (ppc/seo) background and haven't done much in the way of designing buttons, colour schemes for websites etc.

Things like doing gradients, using layers etc would be great.

    Thanks :)

    +1 for Lynda.com.

Make sure to get the "One-one-One" courses, Deke McClelland is a really good teacher, he makes learning a less boring chore! ^^

But they are not free of course, unless you know where to search. *hint hint*
