    I once put that same linkunit under my menu and got 50 clicks that same day from it, it gives nice CTR but the thing for me is that my niche pays only a couple of cents per click.

    Try to use the same background color for ads slots and ads background. Moreover, you may use blue for the title of the ads as your content headers are blue.

    Hmmm…you could try by placing Leaderboard (728 x 90) on the top of your page. I don’t knpw whether it might be better, but I would suggest you track with channels and monitor whether it does help. Another thing, try to customize ads font color to be the same as the site font color so that everything looks blend in.
