    Are any of them unique or with a compelling point of difference?

    Bookmarking sites are very passé and considered to be link farms by Google so it's unlikely that their advertising program is going to be interested.

    "Tech" blogs/sites tend not to be approved much these days as the niche is oversaturated and it is hard to offer content that is unique and compelling that is not already on a zillion other sites.

    There are alternative platforms to ad networks you might want to try out. Some are more premisive with letting you join them but as people say, if you don’t have decent traffic, you won’t be earning much. You can try Mondiad, Popads, or Adcash for example but I suggest you invest in your websites a bit more.
