Google analytics and 301 redirects

    I have a site which redirects all incoming links from advertising campaigns via a tracking script and then to the homepage.

    For example an advert points to site.com/track.php3?ad=123 and this tracks the user and then 301 redirects to site.com

    This system is used to get maximum benefit from backlinks but we also use this in the adwords and overture campaigns.

    My problem is that Google Analytics is not showing any referrer details for my Adwords campaign despite there being about 10 clicks per day. All the referrer's are appearing as organic.

    Will the 301 mean it can't get the referrer details? I had assumed that Analytics would grab whatever cookie Adwords had left and use that.

    Any ideas?
