Google Analytics Inaccuracies for Paypal Checkouts

    when customers on my site chose to checkout with Paypal, they go offsite to paypal, then return to my site's thank you page after submitting payment. because of this, Google Analytics does tell me the original source for that conversion, whether it be an adwords campaign, organic search, or something else. it just says Paypal as the source.

    how do I learn where these people are coming from? please advise. thanks in advance.
