Google Doodle wishes Egyptian actor Naguib el Rihani a happy 127th birthday!

Google celebrates the 127th birthday of iconic Egyptian actor Naguib el Rihani نجيب الريحاني with a classic Doodletoday.
Born to an Iraqi Christian father and a Coptic Egyptian mother on 21 January 1889, Rihani grew up to become one of the most well-known theatre actors of the 20th Century.

Rihani stumbled upon acting when he befriended Badee' Khairi, who quickly became his lifelong friend and showbiz partner. Together they wrote numerous plays that were soon taken to the big screen, and some of which were filmed in Paris despite their events taking place in Egypt.
The late actor soon earned the nickname of "The Father of Comedy," and to this day is best remembered for his comedic role as "Kashkash Bek."
Fuad Al Mohandes, the great Egyptian comedian of modern times, always acknowledged Naguib Al Rihani's نجيب الريحاني effect on him and his style in acting.
