As many of you might know, Google tried to buy Groupon for about $6 billions.

Appearantly theyre not giving up this market without a fight. :)

Do you think alot of people will switch to google offers? Will you?
Anyone has some more information besides whats on the site?

    Cheers!

I would switch - a deal is a deal right? Groupon is pretty cool- you get to do something you might not normally do because of the cost. But I hear it can be bad for some businesses if not handled correctly. I'm interested to see what happens...

I hope google doesn't get in this market.
    Google is getting too big.
However I think they can pull this off really easy. Groupon uses adwords as one of their biggest advertising channel. Google can easily place ads abover groupon.
Also google has a good reputation, people will more likely sign up for a google service then any other.
