    Hi, just found out about Google Talk - I didn't realise it was an IM and Skype type software. Has anyone used it regularly - have they found it easy to use?

    msn messenger does the job for me. G talk seems to be eoo basic + Not many people use it.

    I use it and like it, but to talk to everyone I also use AIM, yahoo messenger, MSN messenger, and skype.

    Stupid talky people.

    I haven't had any spam contacts or bot contacts from GoogleTalk yet though, I get plenty from msn, yahoo and icq.

    I've learnt to be incredibly formal when acknowledging a contact and that kills most of the spam - but apparantly I'm too uptight when I get hooked into group sex chats.

    I've just signed up to use Jabber though. Another system on my desktop!

    Must admit, I do live in a black hole sometimes :D but I've not seen any promotion of Google Talk, until I logged into my gmail account tonight. I'll use it for business. Do you have to wear them stupid headphones like Madonna wore? :D

    not to use the chat part of it, and you can always yell at the microphone.

    My husband finds the headphones have a hidden benefit - he no longer has to listen to the tinny, repetitive music from the kids computer games - because they love the headphones. But I think it's more Hilary Duff than Madonna these days.
