Google is the best, everyone needs it. Facebook just causes a lot of trouble

 

well orkut had a great time now facebook becoming more famous in youth. As Microsoft paid $240million price for 1.6% Stake in facebook u may get some information here also(techtracer.com/2007/10/26/what-makes-facebook-win-over-orkut/).

 

Facebook and Google are two different thing. It should not be compared with one another for its has different use.

 

Google is a search engine. Period.

Facebook is a social networking site. Period.

 

I think that in the future facebook still be ahead of Google

 

Although we can say that Facebook has become the biggest social networking site over this past few years, we cannot really say that it can beat google in terms of marketing and e-commerce. Google allows us to search different information for any particular product/items that we want. Commerce in Facebook is not much of a difference in traditional commerce, so to speak.

 

G is number 1. It drives to you a lot of targeted traffic

and search engine and social networking can't be compared because they are two different thing

 

I dont think that either one of them will beat the other out...facebook is not a search engine...and google is not a social network...they are both great at what they do and i think that if google creates its own social network it will fail because facebook is so big!

 

StumbleUpon is a social network, Google is a search engine. Which one is best? None. Anyway, I have to try FacebookAds for myself before I can say anything about it. From my research it will do good. We'll see.

Facebook Ads are nice in the sense you can specify into small detail of what traffic to look into but the bad thing is that you will spent too much money than Adwords

 

It seems Google is more honest and doing its job in a right way.

 

you can't really compare the two as they are totally different sites, though I believe that for advertising Google is allot better.

 

On another, yet slightly relating note, I can see Google buying out Facebook in the future. I mean, IF Facebook was to get sold to a company, it'll have to be one of the biggest out there. What do you all think? Who else could you see buying out Facebook?

yes you are right i have also listen that facebook going to start a mail service like g mail and they already purchase a mane Fb , com.
like Google do by opening theirs own social site
