Is there any proof that that Google is unethical?

 

proof...proof you cant handle the proof!!!!!!!!!

 

Ask the state of California, they are the one's that passed email laws when Gmail was introduced

 

Is that proof that they are unethical? Also are you saying that laws are intrinsically ethical?

 

Do a search on is G-mail unethical?

I don't know why you would post worthless links like those SE, especially the WMW links, those are about as worthless as an empty post.

This doesn't show that anybody did anything wrong. The bill is actually in line with Google's practices.

I know you can do better.

Where's the proof that Google commits this unethical practice? What you comment on is the "potential" of being unethical. Everybody and piece of software has the potential of being unethical.

For example, virus protection software is the most invasive software there is. There is a lot of potential there for wrong doing on their part, but privacy doesn't seem to be an issue there. What's the difference?

 

So where do you wish to take the discussion?

M$ with the control of anti-spyware, AV, firewalls, the Windows OS with automatic updates, software verification, search engine integrated into the browserless OS that automatically suggests sites to visit will be the greatest spyware system of all time.

Not to mention hard drive search that will be integrated with M$ search.

All search functions will be a spyware function knowing everything about you and your files to suggest more sources of information.

Computing has become spying Bling.

Yeah. That was my point. This was a superfluous thread to start with sincve we already had one going here. Then it turned into a flame war and became even more superflous.

 

Concerning "That was my point", what are you referring to? Does it really matter if there is more than one conversation started?

 

If you are debating exactly the same issues (and then going off-topic to flame people to boot), yes. On most forums, the two threads would have been merged or a moderator would have posted a link to the main one and locked the second.

You're raising points and questions here that were already addressed. And had been before you started this thread, for that matter.

If people are willing to talk about the same topic on more than one thread, what does it matter? If you want this thread to die because it's repeated, it would happen much quicker if you stopped posting to it.

As far as flaming, I think we could all learn a little from what others think...
