got new blog, first of three

hey, just thought I'd get some feedback on my new blog,

tried my best at blending and adsesne seacrh box i though might be a good touch.
Just submitted to article directories also and tagged my posts with social bookmarks.

 

That is very good-looking design hazelj80. The ad nested inside the content is very well blended, however I would try using one of the bigger ad block instead (250 x 250). Also you might want to put a skyscraper on the right sidebar (120x600).

 

ok, how about now. didn't go for the skyscarper cause i didn't want it to strectch past the story

 

Looks much better and you should get a few more clicks.

The ad block on the left sidebar is pretty much in a dead spot, I read the whole article and I didn't even notice it was there. I would remove it and instead put a link unit right under the navigation (on top of the article's title).

 

i thought so too. i thought about a link ad too but coultdn't get it in there right. lemme give it another go... wtf belt buckels? hmm, looks ok other than that linkad
