Hello I am Astraya online,

I have been in the Printing/Production business for 12 years creating design work and troubleshooting others work ranging from offset to silkscreen.

I have been drawing my entire life which began at 5 and up through high school winning art contests for my work. pencil drawings, pen and ink drawings, oil paintings of portaits & landscapes, watercolor paintings, collages, mosaics, drawing everything I could see basically.

I love to create, paint, convert, miniatures and sculpt terrain layouts for RPG games like AD&D Fantasy and Warhammer 40k. I use mostly acrylic based paints for these creations.

I have three college degrees - Graphic Communication BFA, Drawing & Painting BFA, Associates of Fine Arts in Drawing, and only need a Senior Project done to have a Sculpture BFA degree as well.

I went in the Pinting/Production as a Typesetter, then Graphic Artist, then a Desktop Specialist, then a Film Stripper, then Electronic Production Artist.

I have been drawing and painting for 14 years now with Fantasy Artwork as well as with Figurative Abstract Expressionist Paintings.

I have been working on web creations for various clients for 10 years now creating anything from buttons, backgrounds, logos, to entire webpages.

I advanced knowledge working with Illustrator, Corel Draw, Photoshop, Photo Paint, Power Point, Acrobat PDFs, Freehand, Go Live, HTML Editors,
Quark Express, In Design, and Beginning knowledge of AutoCad, Maya and other Animator programs. I know File Maker, MSOffice, Various Drum Scanning, Flatbed Scanning, Archiving, Plate Making, Film Creation, Silk Screen Film, Using one, two, four, and six color offset layouts.


On the Technical side I can basically take a computer from shell form to full function and networking ability. I know the basics of computer functions. I know the typical programs for Macs and PCs - OS and Windows formats. I worked for a year as a IT Lab Coordinator at a Ivy League University. I managed 50 PCs and 40 Macs and setup software and hardware for 10 Grad PC computers.

My view of artwork and design is this If it can be Imagined, then it can be Created!

Currently I am unemployed and starting the Freelance Direction of creating artwork for about three years now I have been creating artwork for a friend's forum and website.

I have created ceramics and large metal scuptures in the past I currently don't have the equipment to that at present. Most of the work I do as of late is Computer Digital Painting and Computer Graphics.

I am working on building a website that shows alot of my capabilities as well as photo galleries and commissioned pricing of various work.

I hope that explains just some of the designing skills that AstrayaGraphix can do.... I don't have a studio just a living room office at the moment but I do plan to own my own Graphic Illustration Studio some day.

 

I have great desire to learn Flash , 3D Animation, Adobe Premier, and other audio software. I will do in future.
