What is better, keep hair grey and let it get greyer each day or coloring it?

I'm 22 and have been going grey for 3 years now...

If i died it, eventually I'd stop and suddenly overnight I'd go 100% grey...

    That would look weird...

    Leave is greying...

Dye is for girls ;) :p

Better for it to go grey than for it to go away.

I'm blonde, so in the summer months, I just blame the sun for bleaching it out ;)

Hehe, there is almost zero baldness in my family, but every guy seems to be white (yes white, greyed out) by the time they are 50 ... that scares me.

Embrace it. As a matter of fact, face the inevitable now and just shave it off. Go out with grace. :)

Your pubes would just give you away anyway, eventually.

Shave the pubes, go out with grace.

Better to be grey and look normal than dye your fair and have to dye it the rest of your life. Ever see a seventy year old man with black hair. Does not look normal to me.

I think gray has a softening effect. An old person with black die job looks so harsh (my nice way of saying a two bit whore/pimp.)

No greys yet so I don't know what to answer. I always said once I start going grey I'd start dying it but who knows what I'll decide. If it comes in a nice silvery color then I might just keep it that way but if the grey comes in a mousy grey well maybe a die will be in order. Time will tell I guess...

There's technically no such thing as grey hair, it's actually white hairs, then blended against your haircolor the final overall appearance of your hair is grey, so whatever color you have now would help to know if it will be a "good" or "bad" gray.

it depends on whether you want to look older or younger. I keep mine graying because i don't need to look anymore like a kid. My wife applies some color because she wants to look younger.

I know, what a pair, old codger with young chick!!!

Grey hair looks cool and very distinguished. If and when I turn grey (looking less and less likely the older I get and no history of grey haired men in my family) I'd leave it for sure. Now going bald on the other hand is a different matter. If and when that happens I'm pulling out the razor and going for the Michael Stipe look :D

I'm a bit young to worry about things like that right now, but I'd let my hair stay gray. Why waste money trying to color it.
