    Advertising (learn more)

Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

Starts at just $1 per CPM or $0.10 per CPC.

Has anybody tried this...

Just a thought that, in theory, could increase adsense ad revenue considerably. I need some input as there are a couple of ways to go with it.

Set up a good high paying keyword content rich Adsense page, preferably on an in demand subject as opposed to a smaller niche.

    1) Either use the above as a popup on exit on every adsense site page you upload or

    2) Use ExitPage or similar with the above page listed with them.

    My thoughts.

If you are anything like me and probably the majority of Adsense income wannabes(?) your traffic is not particular well targeted coming from traffic exchanges etc. On that basis if you use this page on your own sites you'll still not have particularly good traffic. If you use exit exchange however, do you think the traffic would/could be of a better quality?

Either option should increase revenue based on a pure numbers game. I would just like to hear what other people think.

    Phill.

P.S. If you don't like popups in advertising that's fine, everybody has an opinion on this. However this thread isn't for you.

What do you mean with 'the above'? The whole page?

Your not the first; it's been thought of - even by Google as Top30 so diligently points out.

Even IF Google didn't have it in their TOS, so many people have blockers now that it wouldn't likely create a bunch of impressions. Beyond that, when a popup or under does sneak through I immediate alt+F4 it anyway (clicking on the "X" on most is merely yet an additional ruse).
