ST is right, you'll find lots of SEO's who are industry specific (Normally because they have a network of sites in that industry that they can use to boost rankings for their clients.)

Massage Chairs. We are currently working with VIPSEM for one site and have looked into about 8 other SEO firms, but are quite turned off by their hard sell almost desperate to get our business attitude but lack of response when we meet with them face to face. We would like to give one site each to 6 different firms and check out the results of each.

I have done most of the optimization myself but no longer have the time with more sites to maintain. We are less concerned with gaining rank as we are with not loosing it over time.

I was hoping to hear some favorable and objective (if possible) advice on a reputable (again if possible) SEO firm that someone has had some first hand knowledge so we can do additional background checking. I ask about Zunch because their references and background check came back almost perfect. The others we have looked into...not so much.

    You asked,

You followed it up with "it looks pretty good to me"

Which to me indicates you have made your own assumptions and are not really interested IMO. You then stated "besides, PR7 is pretty good", which again tells me you have read too much internet crap or have been spoon fed a bunch drivel from a friend or coworker about the importance of PR.

I stated that with your theory, Amazon or Ebay should do your SEO (in jest).

    You then asked,

to which I responded "if you want the truth, most people on this board are better equipped to help you than that company. Many people here spend a massive amount of more hours reading and staying at the front of the game then any company."

I am pretty sure the masses here agree that I recommended this board and gave a pretty good indicator as to why.

If you want help, quit being such an A$$hole...

Hey new...maybe you should switch to decaf, back up a bit. I'm really not trying to be an a-hole, just trying to do my job and get some honest feedback from people who are willing to help.

Your indications of my assumptions are incorrect and your (in jest) comments are not funny, not helpful, and unneccesary.

I'm still willing to hear what you have to say in regard to SEO firms and why you would or would not reccomend them. I think that would be great information for everyone looking to go that route from experts in an SEO forum. Thats why I'm here

NC that reply must have taken you hours to come up with, you crack me up, but it did help. If you read the thread http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=16917THAT is what I was hoping for here. I have delt with that company in the past but will now definately stay clear of them.
