Has anyone tried http://www.teamviewer.com/

If anyone has tried the free version of the software at http://www.teamviewer.com/ (not my site), can you please tell me of your experience or thoughts. Any comments on other related free remote access and free desktop sharing software is also welcome.

 

I've used it, albeit just for casual personal use. It worked well.

I've been using it for a long time and really good compared to logmein.

 

I normally use teamviewer software when i want to get some help by my clients or I want to change some setting in my workers computer.
It helps a lot.

 

It is great free application, my friends use it frequently for having fun with other friends computers.

As a moderator for a gaming site, I found it especially useful to help new members install our games (it was a small site and only the lesser technologically inclined people needed help) Then I've used it numerous times to fix various of my friends computers, its a great product.

Can It use for damage other computer?

 

I used it for a while ..it works great for sharing your desktop but I tried to watch a movie on my friend pc ...but it didnt work ..lol

 

I have used it for many years now. This is a fantastic remote desktop / remote access tool.If you have many remote nodes and if all are connected to internet, then team viewer is the best place to control each of them and support them remotely.They generate a password for every session and it is very secure.

It gives you an advantage of reducing travel costs if you have multiple branch offices.

There is also one another tool called 'showmypc' , this is also similar to teamviewer.

Yes, I have used it many times..

Mostly to help friends out with the problems in their PC.

The best use I remember -- When I had to copy the pics and vids of his marriage from my bro's PC (he lives in NYC, I reside in India), The total size was over 10 Gigs.. Teamviewer helped me to select and copy the 2 GB which I wanted..

 

I m using teamwiever from the past 5 years. I m using it for my official work & sometimes for helping my friends also. Yes it may harm other computer also if you dont use it for right purpose.
