Has anyone used Scoop?

    I just ran across an intriguing CMS/blogging/collaborative product called Scoop (I can't post links so search for it). I'd like to know if anyone has every used it.

    The problem is that you just can't go and install it on any hosting account. You need root access. However, there are hosts that specialize in providing accounts for it.

    Even if you haven't used it, I'd be interested in your comments if you go and check it out, because it's a bit scary to run some software like this for me. But, it's the only software I've found that really does what I want it to do out of the box.
