    The crappiest traffic in the world will increase your alexa rank as long as the IP has alexa toolbar installed on their machine. Even iframe traffic would do that.

    i think alexa rank is very easy to manipulate. So try to focus on website traffic.

    should i invest in sites who make back links to my site like blogs etc for seo ? ore get traffic from iframe etc. my site are a filesearch site (rapid-search.de).. i dont want sell anything on my site only get traffic and taht the people download some thing thanks

    Backlinks won't necessarily help you get more traffic.

    Articles, videos, press releases, social bookmarks- those give you backlinks AND traffic.

    But profile backlinks definitely won't give you traffic!

    OK. i can see that you are looking for traffic but you seems not very sure what kind of traffic you are looking for.
    freaky speaking, alexa ranking means nothing, if you just want to improve your alexa ranking, you can go to BST section - http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=99 to look for cheap traffic, but i would say it can only help on improving your alexa ranking but no more others.

    By the way, if you consider to get real traffic, buying some service like posting on videos and other, then you can go http://forums.digitalpoint.com/forumdisplay.php?f=60 to look for such service.

    Alexa ranking wont serve your purpose at all friend. Hit with articles , videos and social bookmarking which will definitely serve your purpose.
