Have I been scammed by ProfitHost.net (Rezo's website)?

    I received my servers from Profit Host and they are great. Please ignore this thread

    Hello,

    Me and my mate bought a server from ProfitHost.net. When I was placing the order for the server, Jacob from ProfitHost said that my server would be ready by Friday morning. Me and my mate paid ProfitHost using MoneyBookers (because they don't accept PayPal..). After we finished the payment process, their site went down a few hours later. ProfitHost.net still seems to be down...

    I contacted Rezo through DigitalPoint and I emailed Jacob from ProfitHost, ProfitHost Support, ProfitHost Technical Department. After a few hours, Rezo replied to me on DigitalPoint saying that I should contact Jacob because Jacob is in charge of the Sales department. I emailed ProfitHost twice and they replied saying that DirectAdmin.com license is taking longer than expected. When I asked them for SSH info, they said they assign IP addresses after DirectAdmin license is done. I have been trying to get in touch with Jacob since the past 2 days but he seems to be fully ignoring me on MSN.

    Jacob told my friend on Sunday that since it's the weekend, DirectAdmin.com is closed and we have to wait a few days. I do not understand why I am not getting a good response from Rezo or Jacob.

    Any suggestions on what to do? I don't think why this is taking any longer because I was told the server would be ready by Friday morning...

    Profithost.net is down, sites on server are down. Rezo and Profit|Jacob must be running away with the money now. They dont answer my email either.
    Anyway, regardless that they now have run away, they are very arrogant and have a incredible shitty and arrogant customer service.

    Hmm..they might have changed servers or something..When I access it from my desktop, it says Problem loading page in FF. If I use a proxy, it shows me their new page.

    Oh well, I emailed them once more with link to this topic. Let's see what they say

    We do not accept paypal any longer because we have received more than 18000 $ in fake money with paypal in the last 3 months.

    Paypal as well asks us to send our invoices, and supplier information, or they won't active our account again.

    Due to international trade rules, and dutch privacy rules, we are not allowed to give away this information to paypal. Neither do we want to.

    We will not use paypal again untill they comply with the international banking rules, the rules our other payment methods did comply to.

    We have answered all your emails, but yes, due to the webserver movement of the last 2 days it is possible because of a dns, the mails did not arrive.

    We do have to say again, that a message on a public forum like this, is not the way to take care of this.

    We are reachable by email, fax, phone, msn, icq and mirc.

    Have you ever heard of the word "slaunder"? This topic can possibly cost us more money than it will ever deliver from your deals. It is very possible for us to confront you in a lawsuit right now.

    We have all respect for our clients, and will take care of all orders, but this clearly is NOT the way.

    You may need to find a lawyer to help educate you on slander what it is and what it is not.

    There is no slander here. Slander is spoken.

    This would fall under libel, however, since everything the OP posted is factual and you yourself admit such in your post there is no libel. ;)

    Another thing you need to remember is you joined the public forum, and as such expose yourself to commendation as well as criticism..

    Do not like it...do not post in forums.

    By the way there are many notable cases of business screw ups posted on the web and little one can do to remove them if they are indeed factual like this post.

    You are looking at someone else here. My friend has nothing to do with this warez.

    Nor does he have a problem with hosting, we have more than 700 servers so if he wanted he could host whatever he would want.

    REZO = RADU ANTOHI and no RUDI VISSER and I believe no one in Moldovia is called Visser, since this is a Dutch (or bad German) name.

    What's happening in here? We, scammed?! But that is impossible. I am sure that our customer must understand that we do not work on weekends. Also please someone show me the link to the warez forum I host. Shall I be sincere? I offered someone wich needed warez host, but then Jacob (our head sales manager) said got very angry when heard such stuff. It was my mistake. We have never hosted any warez forums, though yes, I must say that I offered it. And what does waushare have to do here? And since when am I Rudi Visser? Your server(s) was ordered Friday, as far as I remember. I repeat, we do not work on weekends.
