Have I gone too far to get a relevant ad?

    My web site is about loan officer training, but the Adsense ads I am receiving are directed toward borrowers. The page titles clearly state loan officer training. The meta tags also include loan officer training, as do the <h1> tags, but the ads are not appearing on topic. The problem is that I am probably not repeating the key words enough (this is not an option).

    So to fix the problem I decided to use the following code to get relevant ads:

    <!-- google_ad_section_start -->
    <h4>Loan Officer Training</h4>
    <!-- google_ad_section_end -->

    According to Google, these section targeting tags are supposed to inform their crawlers of relevant content. The problem is that there is supposed to be a "significant amount" of content between the tags.

    So my question is, has anyone tried to use the tags with just a few words? And if so, has it worked?

    I just applied this trick today so it may take up to 2 weeks to find out if it works.

    Google serves adsense ads base on availability and corresponding to keywords on your site. If no ads available for your site, Google try to find closes ad.But keep in mind that Google also arrange ad base on the rank of your website.

    I haven't tried the google_ad_section_start section myself, but keep us updated if it works or not. Interesting!

    You sure there are advertisers bidding on that keyword right at this moment?

    Good call Jontish. I just did a Google search for the term "loan officer training" and nothing of relevance appeared in the paid advertising section. It never occurred to me that this was possible.

    Thanks, I have been tearing my hair out trying to find a solution for getting relevant ads.

    I have one more question on this issue. When I open a browser window from Dreamweaver the Adsense ads are related, not perfect but saleable. But when the ads appear from my website they are not related to "loan officer training."

    Please see the relevant and non relevant (the second image only has one relevant ad) Adsense images.

    Any suggestions?
