guys please help . i am actually developing a new blog and i get around 30 unique visitors ( reffering) and more than 120 page views a day. it has been two weeks since i started the blog. i have placed some ads ( smowtion) based on CPM and even though my analytics and stat counter show that i get more than 120 pageviews , when i login to my smowtion account i see just 15 impressions. why is it so?

are page views not equal to impressions?

They are probably filtering out impressions from repeat visitors, and from countries judged by most providers to be of low click quality (like India, for example).

Check your Analytics report or AWstats and see where your traffic is coming from.

Because, in the opinion of the advertisers and PPC networks, clicks from India rarely result in sales for them.

The network will lose advertisers (who pay big money) if the advertiser loses money on a PPC campaign as a result of clicks not converting into sales.
