    a .com name is never free unless you can find someone to buy it for you. Although, you can get subdomains, like.this.domain.com and find hosting somewhere. There are plenty of free hosting providers out there now. I would recommend www.xmgfree.com for starters. It also depends on what kind of website you are trying to make.

    Hey CoolDude, I can reply with a serious answer if you want, but you have to give the appearance of caring what people are saying. You can't just post a question and disappear.

    fsmedia gave a good overview. The key things for a .com are registering the domain and finding a host. Nothing against DP, but a better place to do research on hosting is over at http://www.webhostingtalk.com/

    too much ads. You site is flooded with ads. You'll get google ads, and about 200px of your right screen will be filled with yahoo's own content.

    You can better try http://www.freewebtown.com 1gb bandwidth and 1gb storage and no ads. Inculding a webtemplate building thing.
