Help! How to open an australia bank account?

    Hi everyone!

    I am new to this forum. I am currently selling on eBay. My main market is australia.

    Can anyone please help to advise me how I am able to open an account in any australia bank? I am a malaysian. I need to have an au bank account to accept direct bank deposit from AU buyers.

    Please help...million thanks in advance...

    Try the National Australian Bank, i'm pretty sure they operate in Malaysia.
    They should be able to arrange it for you.

    Try HSBC, they are pretty good with international accounts.

    As someone said above to use HSBC.

    I recommend any Internation bank who has Branch in your contry and in Australia would work. Just read enogh info on Foreign Money Transactions.

    Hey, I saw an ANZ bank when i was in Kuala Lumpor... you can try them as well. They are one of the major banks in Australia.
