Hi there, i'm new to website deisgn and adsense and would really like some hints and tips to making my site a little nicer on the adsense side. The CTR is low (less than 1.5%), after reading a lot of posts of people with a CTR of 10% and the like I don't really know what to do.

    www.foodo.co.uk

I would also like to know does the site comply with googles TOS.

    Thanks,

    Carl

first thing to do is actually make a nice looking, useful site. If I came to this one, I would immidiatly hit the back button, because it just looks like a MFA site and I wouldnt think I could get the info i am looking for there.

Remove some ads, really. Sometimes, less = more. Try a 336x280 between your content instead of a leaderboard and skycraper next to it.

Thankyou for you advice, I'll change the code across the site to make less ad's visable. If you look at the wirral menus page you will actually see it is a useful site, i was looking for menus one night and could not find any. I live in the wirral UK that is why the content is for this area only.

I will be changing the layout of the site, do you have any ideas for the menu pages to make the adsense code visable as the right hand skyscrapers have been the quite low, should I put the adsense between every other cat?
