Help improve CTR!

hi, thanks in advance to all that will reply with any help.

I am new to adsense, and have some high traffic webistes, however my click through rate is very low.

My website is www.proxy.websnest.com
With a click through rate only at 0.27%, (granted the fact that its on student loans for some darn reason aint helping).
Can you help.
Is there any words that would be best suited i should add?

 

Instead of using two wide banners, use one medium rectangle right above the search bar.
Also, the color is all white. You should have the links stand out more, maybe blue or orange.

The ads are correct now so that should help also

 

they are alternating for some reason, at times they are way off. sometimes they show something along the lines.

 

Please tell me how did you get the google adsense team to approve your site. All I see are google adsense ads no content whatsoever. Hmmmm Maybe you have another website and just added this one to your adsense account?

Sorry paul, i didnt have any problems with adsense ... i didnt know that adsense is against proxies?? is it? i have other websites that use adsense that are content ritch...? so is proxy a problem? (although its not content, its definitely a service?)

 

do you mean i should remove the images and have text only...? if so, thats what i just did, now just waiting for it to update. thanks man your really helpful.

 

I have a suggestion..

Get rid of the 728X90 leader board and move the rectangle to the left and add another rectangle to the right of it...

I would also change the text color to white, the url to gray and the title to the regular link color..

Just my 2 cents
