    Hi everyone,

    Can some please help me with my adsense placement? I'm having a hard time improving my ctr because my website is very minimalistic.

    Www.Robinchung.com and health.robinchung.com

    Together they reach a traffic between 500-600 people per day and increasing. My adsense ctr is just 0.35% which results in 1-3 clicks per day and sometimes even 0 clicks!
    I tried to change the adsense Ads to gray letters with green links to make it merge into the text more but that doesn't help my clicks much.

    Can someone please help me? I feel like I could be earning more than this.

    Your ads have nothing to do with your site niche....

    First, you need more ads. I looked around a lot and only found two.

    Second, you need to put ads up at the top of the pages, above the content. That way people will see them. They need to be above the fold, so you might need to make your headers shorter, too.

    Also, you should go for a block of text ads instead of just graphic banners, and format them to fit in with your site design.

    Just a few thoughts that should make a difference.

    The site is slow loading and I couldnt see ads anywhere. I tried two or three times and then I gave up. So may be you may want to take up advice from the previous poster DGMarkets, which seems reasonable, Put your ads above the fold just above the content area with looks like merging with content, that way you can get more clicks.

    Thanks for the advice so far but I think I can use an example of where the ads should be placed exactly and if a block or bar format is recommended.
    For example where should I place the ads on the following link?

    http://www.robinchung.com/articles/articles/top5/top5favoriteps3features/favoriteps3featuresaddedafterlaunch.html

    The page can be divided into four things roughly:

    navigation
    -----
    H1 heading
    ------
    text
    ------
    closing pictures and comment box

    @Traffic-bug
    I will replace the (article name) pictures with text soon to make the site faster.

    @DGMarkets
    For now most ads are only on the pages with text like the articles, because the site (only applies to the first link) is made from pictures and I figured Google can't tag those properly for them to give me ads for the niche. I'll add more once the pictures are replaced with text links.

    Thank you so far! Hopefully you can help me one more time. :eek:

    Okay I used the suggestions given so far to improve my positioning, especially on the deep pages where people are going to through links and search engines.

    My ads are now placed above the H1 heading, 600px width, the same as the text content. Can someone evaluate the new pages?

    Everything above the H1 heading is the same for every deep page apart from the ads content of course.

    Yes, put ads up at the top of the pages, above the content.
