    Hello,

    I have the a lyrics website, www.vastlyrics.com

CTR has always been horrible. We have tried different kind of ads, everywhere on the page, but beside the top adsense on the home, no one seems to click.

Anyone has some great advice for me?

    Thank you very much!

    Thomas

Try replacing one of the half banners with a leaderboard or banner and see how that goes.

Place an ad at the top. And When I went to your link it was a blank page until I scrolled down. Put some stuff there......

Well, I have put your suggestions up on the main page, I'll see what happens.

Meanwhile, I also have this site www.floppytaco.com, it's an humor website. Clickthrough is very close to 0%..

Are you able to get clicks with images? Most of the page views are for the picturesé

Any suggestion will be welcome ;)

The first thing that i noticed was that you are not getting relevant ads... on our website at floppytaco.com
Secondly if you want to monetize your website then place an ad link unit.. below the Register-Sign in Options - so it looks like a menu.

Place a large rectangle near content, + place some images near it (but be careful)

I'm sure it'll give a boost to ur CTR

This does not have to work always. I have seen cases where removing images increased CTR.

If you are going to use images next to ads, please use a border around the Ads like the Adsense team recommends.

Try to show only two big bocks of adsense above the fold. Ugly as my neighbours ass, but should work. (like that mentioned ass that also works very well)
