Help me: Just got Selected for adsense

Ok guys,

I have been just selected for adsense and I want to ask you ppl few questions like .

1. What kind of ads format should I go for ? Text ads,image ads or link units(what exactly are they by the way ?)

2. In text ads, what size of ads will be better suited for my site ? link in the signature.

3. How can I put google search Box ? and how does it work for you to generate revenues ? I mean whenever a person uses the search box than will you earn some money ?

4. Is it possible to earn something with the naumber of impressions(visitors) ? I mean say even if no one clicks on the ads than still I can get 2-3 dollars for 1000 impressions ?

I haven't even read the google TOS and how I have to put ads. Will read that later after few hours.

Then also the forums. There's a sticky AdSense FAQ here as well by Nintendo and many people have blogs devoted to AdSense optimization.

Yes, you can earn if you're not getting clicks but only if AdWords advertisers choose your site almost manually so it has to be interesting.

Yeah even though they both said it, I can't emphasize enough about not only reading the TOS but understanding it.

Is is important you realize what is and is not allowed before you start putting up ads.
