Wordpress is the best... you can manage it easily yourself and to any look and for any site you like... this is best because it is highly seo friendly and does not need any aditional plugin to make it seo friendly like joomla does require...

The new version of wordpress rocks, because it make it more easy to make wordpress as a CMS

I would advise you to go for Wordpress, PHPNuke is totally buggy and Joomla/Mambo is BFU (Big, Fat and Ugly) :D

Wordpress is the best, better than the rest.

If you're willing to pay for a CMS then I'd recommend Expression Engine. The advantage of a paid CMS is the support that you get plus they're on top of things when it comes to security issues.

Go for Wordpress if your or new to programming. Choose Joomla if you want to develop a serious site.

Also consider Drupal, takes more time but is highly customisable if you want to be totally free.

Go for Drupal - very good system with a lots of flexibility. 5.0 was just released which makes the install a snap. I find the SEO capabilities of drupal unbeatable.

Haven't tried wordpress but Drupal's SEO is amazing. If you are not relying on SE to drive traffic, of course this isn't an argument anymore.
If you choose drupal and need help with additional modules I will be gald to help (took one month to get the right ones !)
