I am here to request that you guys take a look at my site and see if you can offer some suggestions.

    Current stats

    • $8 - $10 dollars a day
    • 1300 uniques
    • 5000 pageviews
    • Avg 1% CTR
    • Avg. $0.20 per click

This is not to bad in opiniion but i think it could be better.

As of now I have a single 728x90 ad unit at the top of each page.

I am thinking of adding one more, but where?

Let me know what you think and I like a challenge so be creative.

I look forward to your ideas and appreciate it.

Placing images above the ads is against TOS.. I would remove those right away.

For your link color, try using orange instead so it stands out a bit yet still blends.

Agree with Myra, Placing Pictures above the ads might get you in trouble
In Color combi again agree with her, everything's Blue out there so the ads need a color change may be some Darker color

the website is gr8 and professional
i see that you have to choose b/w 1 of 2 solutions:
    1) just copy google ads to the end of the page, you still have a place there
    2) if u want to keep google ads on top (as it is the case for all your website pages) try to put the cd pics under the ads , separate them from the ads with some intro text .

I don't suggest you add more google ads, if you want to improve your revenu, adding more adsence sections won't really help, what helps better is advertising your website, try considering backlinks or adwords.

    Good Luck for the rest

Your CTR could definately be improved. The pics above the ads are a no-no and here is why. As I am looking at the page now there is a pic for an Adobe Photoshop Elements label. Directly under that is an ad for a label dispenser. In someone was to click on the label dispenser ad thinking it would take then specifically to an Adobe PE product then they would have been misled and the advertiser would be out the money on a click that was never going to convert.

You can use graphic elements near the ads but not if they are seen to represent the ads in any way. The point after all is to draw the eye not pretend that the picture is what the visitor is clicking through to, right?

Do you use channels? The 728 banner always worked well for me, until I was smart-priced. Banner type link unit right under top nav works well (for me)too. Search box receives good rev for me too. Using channels and experimented would be one way to tell what does work best on your site.

I notice that you do have a G links unit on your internal pages. How is that doing? You might want to experiment a bit with different ad unit sizes and colour schemes.

After smart pricing, I finally bit the bullet and added the square units within text. It seems to have gone some way towards fixing my smart-pricing problem but what is even more interesting for me is that the units where I have used a light grey border actually seem to perform slightly better than the totally blended units.

You know 1300 uniques a day is not bad traffic. I think you could aim to increase that with regular seo housekeeping as well as fiddle with sizes and colours of AS implementation.

... homepage title - currently this is your domain name. There must be a more frequently searched term than that. Even 'CD and DVD disc labels by Lightscribe.com' would be better, don't you think?

Body content--- okay, what's this site all about,. I have just landed here and I am smacked with choices but don't know what I am supposed to be doing. Of course a little bit of intro would also help in the search engines.

Alright I ahev taken a few of your suggestions.

I got rid of the images on top. Didn't really realize that it was being misleading.

    Changed the site tag line.

I changed the ad color to orange, we will see how that goes. I think it looks pretty good.

Thanks for the recommendations and I will keep you posted about what occurs from the changes.
