    Hi Everyone

I have been on DP for some time then left it and made some webpages by getting hints from here but not anything serious, Now i want to be a good web designer so I ask you people what software should I learn for Graphics and Multimedia. so far I only used some Photoshop.

Photoshop has everything you need for web design to be honest.. i am sure there are some little pieces of software out there that automate some stuff, but Photoshop has enough for you to make some outstanding graphics for the web!

For Graphics use Photoshop. For multimedia use Flash CS3. And if you need both combined you can always use Dreamweaver.

Photoshop is pretty good to work with if u want to create images and stuff althought Fireworks is pretty goog too. It always depends what I am doing..if I use lots of layers I prefer Fireworks coz i can easily click on an item and it is selected. In PS you will always have to go to the Layerbox and choose the layer directly which can be pretty annoying if u have like 100 Layers and didnt name them differently.

Didn't they fix that with CS3 or is that still a problem?
