Help this Asian review his site :P

I run www.tobeasian.com. It's just something I setup with my friends, I would be lying if I say it wasn't an aim to make a profit, but the real reason I started the site really because of 2 reasons.

Firstly, I wanted someplace to post stuff and share what I have found over the net to an audience (that kinda happens when your bookmarks have over 3k entries -.-). The second reason is because I found a lot of my friends to be Asians wannabe.

My articles aren't doing that bad, I started only around 2 weeks ago, and since 3 of my articles has made it to the front page of Boingboing. The highest I earned from Adsense on any one day is 1 dollar 20 cents from the time my site was on the front page of Torrentspy. Even with all these happening, my audience base has not topped 100 visitors a day, except for that one day as described earlier. I have earned around 8 dollars over the past 15 days, however, my CTR never topped 1%, 0.2% for that matter.

So, I am here to ask for help. 1) How do you recommend me to do in order to get more audience and 2) any advice on improving the site in order to improve my click through rate or etc.

Atm I just want to earn enough to cover the cost of the server and site, it's not that I cannot afford it, but I rather do something I enjoy and at the same time no need to pay for it

hmmm were to start you need to include adsense in the article as people read it the large rectangle is best for this make it the same color as the back ground and same with the borader make the link the same color as the link of your site. The way you have that current adsense banner screams AD and most people turn a blind eye to it.

 

i c... i thought what I was doing was "blending", i guess it was bleeding haha
