Quick and easy work, good for students or work from home professionals!!!

We want someone to create 500 celebrity profiles for our bollywood website. You will just need to enter 5-6 fields for each profile (name, born date, height etc) which you can get from wikipedia or some other website, select the relevant wordpress categories and save it. What about the time it takes to research each one of the 500 celebrities to find the info to copy and paste?

My advice is to save your $20 and do it yourself.

Anyways, lot of people have already responded offline and shown interest. This shows that the $20 can help someone and they can help us. So not exactly sure what your problem is...

Oh! I didn't realize there were people in the world who could pull the (correct) heights, weights, dates of birth and other biographic information for FIVE HUNDRED PEOPLE out of their asses on a whim, without EVER having to look up one single detail.

If people are happy to do this work let them do it
Slave labor or not the world will always need things done cheaply and there will always be people happy to do things for a low rate because they need the money
and for some this few bucks can mean everything at this moment
I suggest not to post in others their threads with nonsense about rates as the market of demand and supply determines the rate not snot-nosed commenters ( sinobia? ) whether you have merit or not you should make your own thread and not discuss things here

It's not about merit or lack thereof. It's about exploiting people for personal gain and looking out for your peers. Based upon your personal attack on me response, I can guess which category you fall under.

 

How would you even go about finding information like this? I can understand some cheap Excel style data entry work but you want people to:

1 - Research 500 Bollywood celebrities (which some of might not have a lot of details on Wikipedia).
2 - Upload them to your Wordpress site.

Not everyone has multiple monitors and knows how to find things in Google as well as other people do. This could take some people an entire day of work. For some people, research and data entry is a nice break from filler content writing but $20 is a bit harsh.

Oh, don't worry about him, he has a unique way of responding to quite a few people on here. I'm currently a scam artist, a racist, mentally challenged, some insult about my mother being on a farm, etc.

Just for fun, I found a list of the top 20 searched Bollywood actresses last year. I typed their names into Google and many of them don't have listings for weight or height. This means that some of these will actually require some deep digging to find this information.

Guys, we have given the person enough liberties on what fields he needs to enter and he's loving it and already requesting for next assignment. Moreover, I am also doing some part of the job e.g. adding tags, adding featured image etc.

Regarding rates, instead of $20, we would have loved to pay $200 but we should earn that much from the site first, right? At the end of the day we all are professionals and need to feed our families.

With that I would like to close this thread. I wish their was a close thread option for the thread owner
