Help, what to do about Email Hacking!

Hey I have a question, I work in Hollywood and a Hollywood news organization was able to get into my emails to obtain some information and I don't know how.

I literally have put up firewalls, changed my password twice amongst other things.

Its a big mainstream news service and they have to be using some high tech hack I'd have to imagine to get in, help!

What should I be doing to stop these people from getting into my emails????

This is obviously a huge violation of my right to privacy, thank you!

 

I don't know what else to suggest since you have taken almost all precaution in the book.

 

You may have a virus in your computer, that it may send all sorts of information to your hacker. Try cleaning your computer, laptop or whatever it is as well, than change your password and do all you have to do yo protect your mail.
You may also want to check out the log info of the mail, see which IP has been viewing your mails, you may have a chance of even locate the hacker.

 

i have no idea because i never try to hack any thing

 

i think that when your email account is hacked then delete this account and possibly locked it......

 

Its crazy to me to think about that there is technology out there to get into ANYONES email.

There is no possible way they could have randomly found my password.

Any recommendations on what I should buy in terms of a firewall/antivirus package to insure this stops?

 

Also, I want to contact law enforcement about it and I plan on telling a lot of people publicly because I feel if they do it to me they are doing it to a lot of people, and people have the right to know there rights are being so incredibly violated.

 

Should I contact the FBI that seems like the best possible agency.

 

A big Hollywood news organization, eh? Find their biggest competition, and get them involved. I'm sure the press for one news organization would love to shut down their competition.

 

You don't have any recommendation on a firewall anti-virus?

I'm not even sure its that, they can get into multiple email accounts of mine.

I'm about to go to a tech store to do some research, this is literally an event in my life that has me as angry as anything ever has. I'm really angry about this... I cant even believe it.
