    Statistics for June 2008 (adsense)

    Impressions: 2932
    Clicks: 3
    CTR: 0.10%
    eCPM: 0.12%
    Earnings: 36 cents

Help on optimizing any of these factors would be appreciated... Except impressions - which are just based on traffic more or less.

    Site url:

Ad slot 1: top right hand corner (30% chance of showing 234px google ads)
Ad slot 2: bottom of all pages 728px google ad
Ad slot 3: top of all posts 728px google ad

    Thanks for helping.

I would change the colour of the text on the ads to light blue to match your content. Also putting a horizontal banner up top on your homepage, not just individual posts might help.

They were light blue before - In May I still had low clicks so changed them to Green a few days ago. Isn't it better when ads stand out in this way?

Nope, you will see better results by blending them.

OK thanks I'll change them back to blue then.

I read somewhere that light green is easier on the eyes and makes people more inclined to check them out.
