    Hey!

I have a nice new site: http://designphase.net/ and I have been recieving some nice traffic and its increasing each day as the major tutorial directories pick me up. My CTR is about 1% now and might get higher as more people come, but I want to improve that.

I would like some experienced webmasters to check through my site to see what I could be doing better, and get those higher numbers.

Also, another question, what is on avg. the amount for each click? sometimes I get one click for 25 cents, and than some for 2 cents. How do I keep them all high?

One more :) I dont understand CPM, I had alittle over a 1,000 impressions, and the earnings didnt change? I checked the channels, and some got 1000 views and some got around 800 (which is due to where they are) but what gives? Also...how much should I expect for the CPM? what it was on the eCPM?

    Thanks all the help! :D

What a nice site you have :)

I only have one suggestion which may help. You might want to try blending your top link unit if they are not performing well.

Regarding your questions, the amount you get for the clicks depend on the advertisers that are paying for that keyword. Therefore, you cannot manually change anything to reflect a higher earnings.. unless you change all your content to include high paying keywords..

    Oh! Thanks! :)

I am actually doing that know with high paying keywords, and man! I can see how that can really boost click rates. I put in "web host" and "email hosting" in one of my top tutorials to see if any of the ads would go to it, but no luck lol. (when I mean go to it, I mean apear in one of the ad placements)

The link unit is actually my best click area. My search is going good too, but not alot use it, but when they use it I get a click, only because my site is new and google hasnt indexed much :)

Thanks for the help! I am gonna go write some tutorials on how to cure Mesothelioma now. :D

Could someone let me know if this is allowed:

    designphase.net/meadowlogo

what I did there with the image next to the add. I know I cant do it in some cases like match them with smaller images, and doing it for lists, but I saw in someones sig on here the right way to do image next to ads, it was duvet cover site lol.

    This guy:

    duvetcover.tuvie.com/

I dont remember his username, but I used this technique. Do you think it is alright? Questionable? Should I ask the big man to see clarification?

    Thanks!
