Discussion in 'Placement / Reviews / Examples' started by Ericsson, Dec 18, 2006.

I need some help with the placement on my site www.fiehostingsite.com

The current page CTR is around 2% but I would like to make it higher.

Can anyone suggest any other places to put links? Or and suggestions on the current placement?

    Thanks.

    I believe you meant www.filehostingsite.com/.

If this is your site I would suggest you be careful with using images with adsense. I havent removed my images on my ads yet but I plan to soon.

Why "be careful". What do you mean exactly?

Google is cracking down on people that place images too close to adsense. They don't want any unnecessary attention to the ads or something like that. All I know is images are now frowned upon unless you set up a way to make sure the images are seperate from the ads; like a border between them.

Would it be allowed if you put a line in between them? To show its separated.

Besides getting rid of the images, can anyone suggest any other placements? I was thinking an Adlink in the navigation. But I wouldnt want it to know annoy current users...

Try a banner or half banner between some of the posts. Yeah, an adlink somewhere might help, either in the nav bar or at the bottom.
