    Can I make the ads black like that to blend into the page?

    I might have to pick a different band though. Not many hits on this one. I'm really into the band and know quite a few others but it must not be a popular search.

    Yes you can do it, no problem.

    In order to get search engines to find you with this name you should create a blog called with the name of the group, so it appears in the url and in the page title.
    At the moment it's http://music6789.blogspot.com with page title "Music Groups" when you should have something like http://fan-of-marty-casey.blogspot.com and page title "I'm a Marty Casey fan!"

    Yeah I thought of that when it was too late. I can't change the URL now can I. I have to go make a whole new blog. Man this one was a lot of work. Oh well it really did only take two days but just about every waking moment. Now that I have created it it'll probably go faster since I have all of the pictures together and can just copy and past what I had written in there.

    Otherwise what do you think of the blog and the ad placement? I don't want to turn people off with the ads so I thought black would blend in and not scream ads when people opened the page but I still want them to see the ads.

    The ad placement is fine and yes you can open another blog with the good name and copy and paste, you'll go faster now that you know how to blog and you can keep the old one open, the occasional visits on the ads won't hurt.

    You can also use an adlink block as well as 2 more adsense blocks. You can get the code in your adsense account.

    Well I'm already obscessed with my own blog.....lol. I keep going there to watch the videos. I will definately get another one up by this weekend that will be more search friendly so others can become obscessed with it too and come over and over and click on my ads.

    One tip for others who want to start a band blog. If you can get in touch with the bands message board moderators and administrators that is good. I had posted my blog on this bands message board and one of them told me I needed to remove one of my pictures because the photographer had not released it to the public yet. She said he will soon though. I asked her for more pictures and she gave me a ton of them. So it helps to be in contact with the message boards.

    otherwise page is nice indeed. simple just black color :) good job i knew exactly it was band blog :)

    I already have it up and running with the ads on it. It was way easier then I thought. I just copied and pasted almost everything. I'll impliment the suggestions you had. I just wanted to get it going with the proper name. I already have way cooler ads and more of the appropriate ones. Believe it or not the name for the URL you suggested was taken. This was one of the available ones that was suggested to me.
