Hi , i need suggestion ?

For the mushroom season to start here.
Last year was my first time (moved to Iowa last year) and I thoroughly enjoyed myself going over the countryside here.
And actually loved the mushrooms when my wife sauteed them up for everyone....first time ever!
Heck, since I met my wife, she has turned me on to broccoli, cauliflower, and more odd foods.
Then there is the sweet corn...the stuff you will never get in a grocery store!
AH, the joys of being in Iowa!

Yeah, got to have fun in the forums.
Got to lighten up some of these serious posters.

 

There is a limit daily to how many threads you can start?
Hmmm...guess I never hit that limit....maybe I should start threads just to find out the limit?

Hey Iowa you know tramping around in the cow patties is not a very bed of roses idea dont you.

 

No, mushrooms are not found in pastures.
Got to find the right trees, and they are there.
One of my wife's brothers has a farm south of here.
So he knows the best places in that area for mushrooms.
Object is to get out there BEFORE the masses from Des Moines arrive!
When the season arrives, in about 3 weeks or so, you can see people park on the side of IH35 and get out and start hunting.

If anyone asks, I am the brother!

 

Oh I thought you were looking for some other types of mushrooms. Oh and of course I would tell them you are the brother you know me I would not want to make people think strange thoughts of you.

 

there's no official limit, but try starting 27922 threads in a day and sooner or later someone's gonna complain. (speak from experience)
