High PR Rank or High Backlinks

    High page rank or high no of backlinks ,,

    Can somebody elaborate the importance of the two ...

    They both tend to go hand-in-hand.

    A high PR typically means strong backlinks....so you're probably buying both in most cases.

    If you were to give a choice....I guess I'd take BL's because PR doesn't always mean as much as people try to make it out to be. BL's usually mean some traffic sources...and helps with SERPS...which usually means $$

    I think backlinks are more important in long run because if you have high PR but its backlinks are no longer exists then automatically PR gets down when search engine crawler update PR.
