    Why are these people looking for
    "filipino writers" or "indian writers"

    I cant make any sense in that requirement

    If you want a price per article, of $3 per 400-500 words, that I understand
    the specific asking for writers of certain nationality baffles me

    @ContentVisionz: I'm just speculating but they might be launching websites that cater Philippine News or might be looking for a ghostwriter to write articles about certain things which can be found only in the country. So, they need Filipino writers who can provide factual articles rather than generic ones.

    @travman: It's the prerogative of the clients to hire writers from wherever they want and you cannot probably argue with that.
    You're the one who's not making any sense at all. Also, before you actually air out your frustration, you better read what the poster of this thread say/write.
