    What! That´s just stupid. Anyway, they should be called chips. And they should be served in a newspaper drowning in vinegar and salt. Accompanied by tender white fish, deep fried in a crispy batter you´d ask for a Special Fish Supper. Then again in Scotland you could always go for the deep fried Mars Bar or a Sausage Curry.

    What is it about this forum and food anyway. I am trying to lose weight, guys. STOP the foodie stuff. You are torturing me.

    Let's just say that SOME people in the US decided that we shouldn't use the word French in anything because France was so bold as to disagree with Bush's push for the Iraq war (god forbid that anyone have an opinion which differs from his). So they started saying "Freedom Fries".

    Yes...it's stupid, even more stupid that the US media made such a big deal over it. :(

    PS: I have a secret love for Jack in the Box curly fries. Mmmmmmmmm
