Buying Hiring a natural/alternative medicine writer

Please don't reply unless you have excellent knowledge about natural/alternative medicine. I am looking to hire an individual (no companies) to do some bulk writing for me. I want to create 2 databases. The first database will be indexed by ailments (like heart burn, arthritis, acne ...) and the best herbs, supplements and natural foods (like apple cider vinegar) that address those ailments. The second database will be remedies. This will list/be indexed by individual herbs, supplements and natural foods. So using apple cider vinegar as an example, we might talk about its use for heart burn, acne, sinus infections ...

To start I want to commission 50 articles for each database (400 word average per article) and if things go well hopefully we could do more packs afterward. Expertise, writing skill and price are all factors in who I will pick and likely it will take some time to make sure I find the best candidate. More importantly, however, I'm a big fan of natural/alternative medicines. Funny that you mention apple cider vinegar, since I drink that every day for its myriad of health benefits (blood sugar regulation, heart burn, lowers cholesterol, prevents many types of cancers...the list is nearly endless). I read about quite a few other natural medicines and treatments as well, so I certainly have a good base understanding for this topic.

I am also a fan of eating organic/whole foods, which may or may not be important for this assignment.

My normal rate is $.05 per word, but since you'd be ordering in bulk, I give you a $.01 discount, so $.04 per word. Just to clarify, I'm not a real stickler on word count. You mentioned you want articles that are 400 words, so that's what I'll charge you for. If a particular article goes to 450 or whatever, that is fine. I'm more interested in providing quality content than getting paid for every single word.

Thanks to everyone that has responded. As mentioned I am taking my time making this decision, but it is difficult to respond to some that don't give me insight as to why they are interested, samples of work and pricing. Unfortunately for this phase of the project (getting started) I am very budget conscious, so sorry for some of you that appear to be excellent candidates that I haven't responded back to.
