    Hi there

    If I hire a sub-contractor for a specific job e.g. web developer, will I have the creative rights over the contractor's work? An example, if I got the web developer to build me a CMS (content management system), and I wanted to use the same CMS for other projects, do I still have the rights to use it over and over?

    Hi buckmajor,

    You can specify that in your contract, i.e., that you will have rights over the end-product. Make sure that the sub-contractor understands and agrees to it.

    Yes... client has all permission to use the given work at whatever location they required a sub-contractor does not have any problem in it.

    You should clear this in your contract to avoid any kind of misunderstanding later on.

    YES!! Thank guys, I was thinking of learning it on my own, but thought it might be better if I hire a professional :D.

    Now the tricky part is to find someone within my budget.
